The Move is Complete

Well after a long period of time in packing and moving and unpacking again, I am proud to say that even thou there are still quite a few boxes left to be unpacked, the move to the new location is complete and we are back online. I hope everyone was able to bear with the move, even thou the site was only down for about 6 days, it's back online and faster then ever. Thank you all for your patience!

EMAIL Problem Solved

Finally after about a month of e-mailing problems, I believe the problem is solved and new registerees should be receiving their email confirmation links in their mailboxes. If you have recently registered and have been wondering why you haven't received any confirmation links, this is why.

What is DavisWorks Unlimited?

DavisWorks Unlimited started back in 1980 as a Shareware company producing some of the most advanced routines and libraries on the market under the name of DavisWARE Software. Some of the most notable landmarks this company has set are:

We were the first company to produce a completely artifical intelligence engine for answering questions in a fortune telling program.
We were the first company on the market to produce fortune telling/spiritual online games which spawned a whole new wave of these types of programs on the market.
We were the first company to produce a programming library for the popular PowerBASIC programming langauge to allow users to create their own online games.
We were the first company to produce a full 3-D animated ANSI adventure game.
We created and supported many enhancement tools for PC-Board Bulletin Board Software that are still in use today.

Needless to say during the 80's & 90's Dos was the way everyone was programming. Windows was just starting to come out on the market and everyone who was anyone used computer BBS's (Bulletin Board Systems). Well soon the internet came along and everyone was getting on it. Window's grew in popularity and Dos and the BBS seemed to fall by the wayside. DavisWARE began to die. It was in 1998 that DavisWorks Unlimited was born. Why DavisWorks and not DavisWARE? Well mainly due to the fact that by the time the it came time to register the domain name DavisWARE.com was already taken... and DavisWorks Unlimited was born. The company now consists of me, myself and I... James R. Davis. After a bunch of hard work and long hours in front of the computer screen this is the culmination of my work! All the works you see on this server are created by me and my passion for experimentation, programming and bringing a little joy to the hearts of everyone who sees my artwork. Here you will find not only all of my programs (most of which are the older Dos programs) but my artwork, my writings, and much more! I am a writer, poet, artist, photographer, singer, programmer, model builder and all around good guy. I love helping people and enjoy sharing my knowledge. I am also hosting the sites of several others. If you'd like to have your site hosted here, check the menu above.
